About MindGlow Health
What is MindGlow Health?
MindGlow Health is a 100% virtual mental health clinic offering therapy, psychiatry, and medication management for adults. Backed by the clinical expertise of our founding partner, FHE Health, we’re grounded in a legacy of compassionate, evidence-based care. We believe mental health is essential to overall well-being and work with licensed therapists and psychiatric providers to deliver high-quality, remote care.
Where is MindGlow Health available?
We’re actively hiring in several states—including Illinois, North Carolina, and New Jersey—and expanding nationwide throughout 2025. Click the “Apply Now” button to see if we’re hiring in your state.
What licensing requirements do I need?
You must hold an active, unrestricted license in your state—such as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PMHNPBC, FNPBC, or equivalent—so you can practice independently. We also verify your NPI number and any required federal credentials.
As a MindGlow Health provider, what’s my time commitment?
We ask 1099 providers to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week. We expect W2 providers to commit to a typical 40hr work week and your pay is not contingent on how many clients you see. You can create your own schedule within our operating hours (7 a.m. – 8 p.m., including weekends).
How much will I earn?
Compensation is competitive and includes pay for clinical sessions, administrative work, training, and orientation. You’ll also be protected with payment for client no-shows, late cancellations, and denied insurance claims. Rates vary based on license type and location.
How often will I get paid?
Providers are paid biweekly, offering a predictable, steady income.
Does MindGlow Health take insurance?
Not yet—but we will soon. Once available, our team will handle all administrative insurance tasks, including coverage checks and claim submissions, so you can focus on care.
What’s the difference between W2 and 1099 roles?
- W2 (Employee): You receive company withheld payroll taxes, access to full benefits (health, retirement, etc.), and paid orientation/admin hours.
- 1099 (Contractor): You enjoy higher per session rates and full scheduling autonomy but are responsible for your own taxes and benefits. Both options offer the same clinical support and flexibility.
How are clients matched with providers?
We attract clients through a mix of digital marketing, strategic partnerships, and referral networks. Providers are matched with clients based on their expertise and preferences. You’re also welcome to bring your existing clients onto the platform.
Which technology platforms will I use?
We provide a secure, HIPAA compliant telehealth platform built on Zoom for video sessions, plus an integrated EHR system for documentation. Our tech support team is available to help you get set up and troubleshoot any issues.

Are there opportunities to grow in my career here?

From onboarding through daily practice, we’ve got your back. We offer malpractice coverage, handle credentialing and billing, provide scheduling support, and maintain clear, open communication—so you can focus on client care.

How much autonomy will I have in my practice?
A lot. We trust our clinicians to do what they do best. You’ll have the freedom to choose your schedule and approach care in the way that feels right for you—without micromanagement or rigid quotas.
What values guide MindGlow’s work?
We believe in compassionate care, clinical excellence, and building a healthier world—one client at a time. Our mission is people-centered, and that includes supporting the well-being of our providers.
Can I work with other practices as well?
Yes! We have no exclusivity requirements. You’re free to maintain additional clinical roles or private practice work, as long as you honor the schedule commitment you set with MindGlow Health.
